Your stay begins on the Montenegrin coast with Budva and its beaches, then continues with unforgettable cruises. Lake Skadar, a natural sanctuary for migratory birds, and the Boka Kotorska fjord, comparable to the world's most beautiful fjords, reveal spectacular panoramas. You'll also explore the historic town of Cetinje, former royal capital, and the village of Njegusi, renowned for its traditional smoked ham.

Day 1

PARIS - TIVAT

Tuesday, May 5, 2026

Meet at Orly airport in the early morning (flight times will be given later) - Welcomed by your guide - Assistance with boarding formalities for your scheduled flight.

Arrival in TIVAT mid-afternoon. Transfer to Budva and check-in at your hotel.

You can then use the hotel facilities or stroll along the beach. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 2

SKADAR LAKE NATURE RESERVE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning departure for Rijeka Crnojevica. Former medieval home of the Crnojevici family - rulers of the first Montenegrin country. Board a boat for a cruise on the Crnojevici River to Virpazar. Boat trip on the lake (total sailing time 1h45).

Lunch at a typical lakeside inn.

This lake is a veritable reserve for migratory birds. This stretch of water is classified as the largest bird migration area in Europe. This natural wonder is part of a 44,000-hectare National Park, whose rare marshes are included on the Ramsar list (a list of the world's wetlands). Visit to the "National Parks" center in Vranjina, a fine exhibition of Montenegro's five natural parks.

Return to the hotel via Mount Pastrovici, offering extraordinary views of the Montenegrin coastline and the magnificent bay of Buljarica.

Day 3

THE MONTENEGRO OF YESTERYEAR

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure for Cetinje, the former royal capital. Guided tour of the town. Entrance to the Royal Palace. Cetinje, a magical city at the foot of Mount Lovćen, is the historical, cultural and spiritual capital of Montenegro. Today, it is a city of arts and culture, with museums, archives, libraries and galleries. The National Museum and the Cetinje Monastery host valuable exhibitions, and an international biennial of fine art is held here. The city is also a spiritual Mecca.

Continuation to Njegusi, birthplace of the Petrovic royal dynasty. Meeting with a producer of the famous "Njeguši Smoked Ham".

Visit the smokehouse and enjoy lunch at the Njegusi Inn, where you can taste Njegusi ham and cheese.

After lunch, you'll drive along the old Austro-Hungarian road with a magnificent view of the entire Boka Kotorska fjord.

Stop off in Budva, the country's seaside resort, for a guided tour of the old town and some free time for shopping.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure for Tivat. You'll embark for a cruise in the Boka kotorska Fjord through the four bays: Herceg Novi, Tivat, Risan and Kotor.

Pass around the islands of St Marco and Notre Dame de la Grace, then stop off at Notre Dame du Recif.

You'll then head back to Kotor at the end of the Fjord for lunch by the sea.

After lunch, you'll sail past the authentic villages of Stoliv, Prcanj and Muo. You'll disembark for a visit to the old town of Kotor, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site: "it's the most attractive corner of the old continent" wrote Jules Verne. The city has undergone many influences, fought over and torn between peoples. Its architecture, such as St. Tryphon's Cathedral and the picturesque little streets, bears witness to its history. Visit the Maritime Museum.

Day 5

SHKODER

Saturday, May 9, 2026

Breakfast.

Departure for Albania. Welcomed by our local guide at the Muriqan border, we continue to the town of Shkodra. Inhabited since prehistoric times and today a symbol of deep religious harmony, Shkodra is home to Muslim, Catholic and Orthodox faiths.

Lunch at the restaurant

Shkodër is considered the capital of northern Albania and has been a city of great importance for Albania and the whole region since ancient times. Legends, different building styles, museums and art workshops enliven this multifaceted city. Visit to Rozafa Castle and then a stroll through the city, including visits to the Cathedral and Mosque.

Day 6

KRUJE and DURRES

Breakfast.

Departure for Krujë, a hilltop town near the Albanian capital. In the 15th century, this town was the scene of numerous battles between the Ottomans and the Albanians. The Albanians resisted the Ottomans for 25 years under the command of Skanderbeg, who went on to become the Albanians' national hero. We'll find out more about Skanderbeg, one of Europe's best-known figures of the period, by visiting the town, its museum and its old bazaar.

Then off to Durrës, Albania's second-largest city. Durrës has not forgotten its historical and cultural heritage, which goes back to antiquity with its Roman amphitheatre, once the largest in the Balkans. Once known as the "Tavern of the Adriatic", Durrës was the starting point for the Via Egnatia, the caravan route that once linked the great city of Rome to Byzantium, once across the Adriatic Sea.

Day 7

Berat

Breakfast.

Departure for the beautiful town of Berat. This city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008, is also known as "the city of a thousand windows". Berat is one of the country's best-preserved examples of Ottoman architecture. Typical quarters with cobbled streets, traditional houses and views of the mountains give this town a special charm. A full day is set aside to visit this site.

You'll then visit the Onufri Museum and the Fortress.

Day 8

BELSH - TIRANA

Breakfast.

In the heart of Albania, Belsh is a picturesque town surrounded by mountains and unspoilt nature. Its lake, ideal for relaxation and fishing, is a real treasure. With its historic heritage, ancient churches and peaceful atmosphere, Belsh offers an authentic experience far from the tourist crowds.

Lunch in restaurant.

Then off to the city of bright colors. Tirana is the country's nerve center. A tour of the city and its typical and modern districts will give you a good idea of the city's history, while a stroll around Skanderbeg Square will give you a feel for the capital. You'll discover the Bllok district, formerly the preserve of the nomenklatura during the Communist era, and now the hub of the city's vibrant nightlife.

You'll visit the Ethem'Beu mosque (exterior) and Bunk'Art 2, a former atomic shelter and headquarters of the Communist "Sigurimi" secret service.

TIRANA - PARIS
